I received an MMS on Cellcom, but cannot open it. How?

If you cannot send or receive MMS messages, you need to check your mobile data connection. An active mobile data connection is required to use the MMS function.

Depends on your mobile phone model and manufacturer, you have to go to Settings and change the Network Settings to use Mobile Networks, instead of Wireless.

How to view MMS on Cellcom?

Cellcom MMS Viewer

First, you need to prepare the MMS ID. There will be a special MMS ID number sent to you mobile, provided by Celcom that comes with the message and identifies the MMS for retrieval.

Please note down the number, or better still, take a screenshot of the MMS ID you received.

Next, what to do?

Please visit mms.cellcom.com/cellcom/mms-view.php from your mobile phone.

A page with¬† appears in your browser. Two blank fields will be at the center of the page, where you are instructed to enter your Mobile Number and Cellcom MMS ID. Type it into the two blank fields and then hit “Submit” on your keyboard.

What is MMS?

MMS is a short form for Multimedia Messaging Service. With a MMS, you can send a message including pictures, video or audio content to another device.

What’s the difference between MMS and SMS?

SMS is a short form for Short Message Service. It is used to be the most widely used type of text messaging. But now it has been replaced by Whatsapp, Telegram et cetera.

With a SMS, you can send a message of up to 160 characters to another phone. Unlike Whatsapp, Telegram or other apps, SMS is a chargeable service.

    Hi there,

I really love my new phone. However, sending your customers to a website to get the rest of their text messages is ridiculous! Please explain what I need to do to get the rest of my messages that my family and friends have been sending me. This is very upsetting and bad business to not explain further how to view messages. It was upsetting enough to be waited on my a “salesperson” at the Sturgeon Bay, WI. location who was a very poor salesperson. I asked him to explain the features of my phone and he told me the best thing to do is to play around with the buttons to figure out how to use the phone. This customer service representative needs to be sent to some additional customer service training. It makes your business look unprofessional, and this issue with the text messages does not help either. I would appreciate any assistance you could provide with retrieving my messages.
